I was born in 1978 and have experience in the field of counseling, teaching,
and in the media. I have a BA in psychology, with a concentration in music. My personal interests include
music, film, literature, philosophy, and the social sciences.
My own spiritual path has been an interesting one. I have studied under different Buddhist
teachers, and have also studied the teachings of other religions. I believe strongly in cooperation between
people of different religions, and with people of no specific religious belief.
I was born Roman Catholic and was confirmed when I was 16. When I was 21 I took
refuge as a Buddhist at a Vietnamese pagoda, one based on Pure Land and Zen traditions. I also have knowledge, and personal
experience with, other religions.
